About ESPC
ESPC is an independent and non-profit society that acts as a forum for discussions and knowledge exchange for persons working in the area of protective clothing including gloves and footwear. The field of interests are diverse and cover e.g., basic and applied research, field studies, test methods, product development and application, improvement of protective and comfort features, maintenance, use problems, cost effectiveness, legal requirements, standardization, market surveillance, etc.
History and goal of the ESPC
The European Society of Protective Clothing (ESPC) was founded in 1997 in Denmark. The purpose of ESPC is to act as a forum for expert's cooperation in the field of protective clothing (including gloves and shoes) all over Europe, but the experts from all over the world are also welcome. Since 2000 the ESPC organizes every two-three years the European Conference on Protective Clothing (ECPC).
